AVCL is promoted by Dr. V. S. Gangadhara Rao, a technocrat with more than 30 years of industrial experience in setting up of projects for Solar PV manufacturing and power generation. Associated with the Solar PV industry since 2008, in the areas of GW scale PV Manufacturing (Polysilicon; Ingot-wafer; Advanced PV Cells & PV Modules); Solar Power Projects of more than 400MW in EPC & development areas.
Prior to establishing the consultancy company, Dr.Rao worked with Lanco Solar as COO, and in senior positions at DuPont and other cos.
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay;
Masters in Technology (Chemical Engg) from IIT-Kanpur
Held the post of Vice President, National Council of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERS
